Yet another Republican politician in the closet

And it happens to be sanford's lt. governer (if sanford steps down, he'll replace him)

I am now able to confirm a rumor that has circulated in South Carolina for years. South Carolina Lt. Governor Andre Bauer is a closeted anti-gay politician who stands to replace Mark Sanford should Sanford resign or be impeached (a real possibility as Sanford is caught in his own sex scandal.)

So, what is the deal with Bauer? I have confirmed and spoken to four individuals who I have no doubt are telling me the truth. These men have been hit on by Bauer, with one of them telling me it happened at least five times since Bauer's election in 2003. To a varying degree I have met with and believe the sources. And, as you'll recall, I have that 100% record.

This was still not enough for me to report on him. Then another call came in and I met with the source while he was visiting DC recently. "He's gay," the source told me.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Because I've had sex with him on two separate occasions." That too, was not enough for me to report on without confirmation from others. I was led on a path to chatting with acquaintances of the source and two former employees of Bauer who served on his staff between 2004 and 2007. They reported to me that on on a total of three occasions Bauer spent hours alone with men hotel rooms. Each of them explained that the visits were with younger men who were not on the staff of the Lt. Governor nor had any official reason to be with him. The two men each confirmed that they had not known each other who saw this and each described similar circumstances under with these interactions occurred. One of them confirmed that he was told by the Lt. governor's visitor had a sexual encounter with Bauer.

...

His record? The bachelor is a right wing Christian conservative. He's done everything from defend the state issuing "I believe" license plates (complete with a cross on them) to defending the right of schools to use corporal punishment. In the presidential election he supported Mike Huckabee.

There have been many rumors over the years about the Lt. Governor who was endorsed, incidentally, by Mark Sanford's wife (she must have an attraction to men with sexual secrets) but now they are, for the first time, verified on the site that has a 100% track record of this reporting. All of the other reports were based on rumors and innuendo, this one is based on individuals I have personally spoken with and met.

Let there now be no doubt.

http://www.blogactive.com/2009/08/rumors-confirmed.html

And he's a conservative christian to boot. More proof that the more socially conservative you are, the higher odds that you're gay?

I think this is appropriate:

edit: for the conservative crying about the source:

Friday, March 04, 2005 (Mark Foley)

Gee, maybe the MSM shouldn't reference him if he wasn't legit?

"It's not about outing gay people. It's about reporting hypocrisy," said Michael Rogers, the blogger who first reported nearly a year ago that Craig might be gay. Certainly Craig's arrest has raised questions not only about his actions, but also about the tactics of mainstream journalists and bloggers who were investigating the senator.

I see a blog claiming to be a reputable source for news on gay politicians.

I don't care about South Carolina politics, but why does it matter whether or not this guy is gay?

"Let there now be no doubt."

And since OP consistently makes this error, let me just point out:

correlation =/= causation

Attacking the source?

This guy is batting 1.000 when it comes to outing gay republicans

It took over a year for one of my closest friends to tell me that when I first outed Craig he didn't believe me. I explained, I have a 100% record and I don't screw cases up.

Then, On August 27 of the next year, we all learned some more about Larry Craig and his bathroom habits.

On March 4, 2005 I reported about a certain Florida congressman who had a habit of hitting on men half his age. "...Mark Foley hit on men less than half his age..." I wrote. And once again comments came in. "Where is the proof???" people asked.

On March 22 of that year, I awarded him the Roy Cohn Award for his part in contributing to anti-gay oppression from within the closet.

Then, On September 28, 2006, Mark Foley was exposed for inappropriate emails with young pages and eventually instant messages came to light as additional proof of who Mark Foley really was.

100% success rate in outing gay republicans. Why are you so scared? Don't worry, unless you're a politician, nobody will out you too.

you cant answer how he is any different, how any of his views are different than what he practices... he isnt the ideal man, obviously in his view, and he understands that, he believes that marriage is Male and Female... He is not married, he is gay... so wtf is the point?

You're quoting the source saying that source is reputable.

A movie review is not a reputable source.

Uncle Tom is a term for blacks who put the personal gains from serving unjust power above the harm it causes their fellow blacks.

Uncle Tom in a broader sense includes gays who put the gains of serving anti-gay bigoted power ahead of the harm it causes their fellow gays. It's even worse when in the closet.

There aren't all that many examples of blacks put in positions of real power in the old days, the way closeted gays have had real power to vote for anti-gay bills.

A movie review is not a reputable source.

Check the website, the links (and the comments to those links) are time stamped

Also, the blog's author (and subject of the movie) was interviewed on this tv station:

http://vodpod.com/watch/159552...tive-report-of-outrage

Notice the republican asshole who repeatedly attacks him never says he made an incorrect report. He's just pissed at what he does.

And if he's so easily discredited, you'd think they would have him in a legit movie? Get real. The only thing conservatives are pissed off at him is for actually outing conservatives, not being libelous/slanderous in outing conservatives.

Isn't that what we're supposed to do? Or should I attack you instead for thinking blogs are news sources?

You better make sure that the blog doesn't have proof on it's track record before you put your foot in your mouth then.
