Republican FL state rep Joseph Harding was charged with wire fraud, money laundering, and making false statements for taking more than $150,000 in Covid relief funds obtained by lying on the applications.
"State Rep. Joseph Harding obtained more than $150,000 in SBA loans by ..." having "listed dormant business entities on his applications, fabricated the numbers of people he employed and submitted fake bank statements."
He pled not guilty in court, apparently because he says he repaid the loan and cooperated with investigators. Well, golly, that makes it all not criminal, doncha know.
