The only cyclists that I have a problem with are bike messengers. There are dangerous to pedestrians as well as motorists. Friggen crazy as mofos

OK, that is what bugs me about this thread - that the DJ is being accused of what he did not do. There was no encouraging to violently harm cyclists in that program. No more so than direct threats to the said DJ's life in this very thread. It's just these "cycling enthusiasts'" attempts to interpret the statements to help them in their agenda.

I don't like cyclists in general any more than I do said DJ (and I am not a fan), but especially after listening to some of this morning's show and reading some of this thread, I find what cyclists are trying to make out of it so blown out of proportion and just generally waste of time and effort.

And it is a comedy show, OK? No sane person would campaign against The Simpsons (or Family Guy) if Homer stated something along the lines of "I love to drink Duff and run cyclists off the road".

Out of curiousity, did you hear Friday's show too or just this morning's (which was basically them mocking us for getting pissy about Friday)?

I use the bike on the inner city roads, and I know a few times when I was honked on merit.
I fear however going on the street when the traffic is at the highest peak, and sometime I walk pushing the bike at crossroads...

And off the record they thanked them for causing such a sensation that their radio station was in the news for so long.

Probably, but it was nice to get some response from the powers that be.
