Yet another power supply thread

Im building my first computer and I have all the parts, but when i got my motherboard it came with a sheet that told me which power supply DC outputs i needed for my processor.

i got

ECS Elite Group C19-A SLI motherboard w/ pentium D 930 dual processor
1 gig ram
1x geforce 7600 pci-e
1 40 gig hd & 1 160 gig HD

it told me i needed +3.3v=30a, +5=30A, and +12v=20A for a dual processor (which i have)
and i realized the power supply of my case is 500W total output max 3.3v=22A, +5=36A, 12v=18A if i just stick the parts in there anyways will it screw over my parts and my comp? (sounds stupid but i need to ask)

when i was initially putting it all together i was thinking about wattage only but after i found this sheet i found all this stuff i didnt know i needed to know about PSUs.
im thinking i probably need to buy a new power supply first, and if you guys think so too can you recommend one for me to buy? im hoping to spend less than $100.

thx

ps. i looked at the power supply thread (confused the crap out of me) and looked at the PSU calculator but i need 100% verification so i dont do anything stupid.

That sheet explaining the requirments is most likely Intel's compatibility guide, per the processor requirements.

I really do not believe that 20A spec is right.. unless that is for the toal build.
I remember looking it up a while back, and I believe the Intel 9xx series CPU's require at least one of the 12V rails to be 16A minimum.

Based on your rig, I would go for a Enermax Liberty 400W. This power supply is amazing. I have this exact one powering up the rig in my signature. There are other great power supplies out there as well..
For your Intel build, make sure it is name brand, and with the proper amperage requirments..

The PSU(power supply) that came with you case I would not use What kind of PSU is it like Brand and modle

the only 2 brands that are afordable(under $100) That I would use are seasonic or forton

the psu that came with the case says OKIA on it. im guessing thats some crappy brand that none of you have ever heard of.

correct

Here is the forton I recommend
Forton
here is the seasonic I recomend
Seasonic

the seasonic is of much higer quality thats why it cost more but if u can get it go for the seasonic. if you dont have that much money then go for the Forton there both good

OKIA is completely beyond crap; 18As on the 12v rail is pathetic for a 500 watt PSU. For reference my 360 watt PCP&C has 22As on its 12v rail.

I would say it would be pretty hard to make a bad decision if you choose any 350+ watt Forton-Source, Seasonic, PCP&C, or Enhance.

dasfox...i see you have that psu in your rig.. hows that working out for you? i've heard a lot of bad reveiws about the neohe series.
