Generally the cats just run away from the bird. :D He seems to get a big kick out of chasing
them from thier food bowl and eating their food, or sneaking up on them while they are
sleeping.

Sometimes he chases my wife around the room trying to grab at her toes! Its all great
fun to watch. Of course I have to deal with a pissed off woman afterward, but its pretty much
worth it for the show. :)

This is my GF's cat Pixel, a bermese rag doll. She's only about 6 lbs., 8 years old, and yes, she was named from Heinlein's "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls."
My cat, btw, is named Franky. He got that name because he cried so much as a kitten (I rescued him at only 5 weeks - he could fit in the palm of my hand) that a friend told me he was a "crooner." The name stuck.

edit: don't let that pretty face fool you - it's reserved only for my GF, who has her undying love. Otherwise, Pixel is one of the meanest cats who ever lived. That notch in her ear is from a fight with my old cat, Felix, an 18 lb. English shorthair, one of the baddest toms who ever lived, and who is now in retirement at 12+ years old at my brother's place.
