While I appreciate seeing multiple options, having to provide my own on half or more issues makes it near impossible to match me to any current candidates/issues.

We really need a carefully crafted political theory sorter (my preference is a 3-axis system), like an expanded political compass.

Democrats - 60% on social, science and foreign policy issues
Republicans - 57% on domestic policy, science and environmental issues
Libertarians - 53% on health care and immigration issues
Green party - 43% no major issues
Socialists - 16% no major issues

Silly test. I refuse to agree with Socialists 16% of the time, much less Greens 43% of the time.

Results:
Democrat - 87%
Green Party - 80%
Libertarians - 58%
Socialist - 54%
Republicans - 5%

However the test doesn't address most of the issues I care about, only the issues the two major parties squawk about.

Results not that surprising for me. I lean left on some issues, and right on others. Most of the things that I agreed with on the republican side had to do with foreign policy. As I'm very hawkish on most matters national security and defense.

Never heard of Green before.
I'm guessing Green party is an offshot or shares much in common with Democrats, while Libertains are with Rep.

Apparently some of my economic views were not shared by any of the parties like closing some corporate tax loopholes. Really - Reforming pensions for government workers isn't supported by any party either?

I'm also surprised Capital Gains wasn't on the list of economic views

Says I'm a loon. Green party 72, Republican 66, Librarians 64 and Demotards 60. Socialsts, 33. Die you commie bastards!

Did you expand the list down in each section? I had a high green party % until I realized there were quite a few questions not listed by default

I guess the results were pretty accurate for me. There were several questions that did not have the right options for me, but obviously no quiz of this nature can have every option. I probably would have leaned more democrat on social issues if the right options had been presented.
