I'm looking at getting a AMD 1.33GHz AJHYA soon and need a motherboard to go with it. I don't care about sdram vs ddr as I won't be migrating any old ram and prices are close to the same. I will be using the following devices in this system:
Athlon 1.33 (266)
256MB Ram (SDram or DDR)
ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon (I could care less about quake type games and FPS, just need good tv-out and this would replace my current tv tuner as well as give decent 3d for the few games I play)
Hercules Game Theater XP
Adaptec 29160 SCSI card with HD, CDR, CDRom, DVD, and Zip
LS-120 floppy drive
Intel NIC
Antec SX1240 - 400W case
other misc parts
Which motherboard will provide me with the best combination of stability, support, speed, overclockability, and future compatibility. So far I've had my eye on the IWill KK266 (I do not need IDE Raid), but am still torn to some of the DDR solutions, I just don't know as much about them.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
