Wow, that's really fast even for NewEgg...

Usually takes about 4 days to get to Southeast Pennsylvania.

Atlanta rocks if you have stuff sent FedEx. I ordered something from Washington State via Express Saver on Tuesday afternoon and it was here this morning.

Crucial ships to us via 2nd Day, and it ALWAYS arrives the next day via FedEx.

I think it has something to do with Atlanta being a big shipping hub (how our city even got its name, come to think of it). Stuff via FedEx seems to get here amazingly quickly. I never bother ordering second-day shipping any more as it will generally get here in two days anyway. I actually had my motherboard for the rig I'm building get here next day.

Now I'll have all my goodies together tomorrow to spend the weekend building my new rig. :D

AMD XP1800
ABIT KG7 mobo
Maxtor 60gig 7200rpm HD
(with the "quiet" bearings)
256meg Crucial PC2100 RAM (will buy more if it ever gets f*cking cheaper)
INWIN J-508p case
(kinda vanilla-looking case, but has 2 USB ports on the front, is plenty big to work on stuff easily, and ventilates like a mofo. I built an identical rig for my brother recently and the CPU would never even crack 40 degrees while crunching SETI 24-7)

My current rig (P3700@868) is stuttering on some of the newer games like GR and MOHAA, so I decided to treat myself to a slightly early birthday present.:D

Umm...don't you mean Fedex kicks a$$? Considering Newegg just mailed the package and Fedex took it from there.

Well, it's partially FedEx for shipping it so fast, but Newegg processed the order very quickly as well. I placed it yesterday around noon so they got it to FE in about 3 hours. Not too shabby.

Considering that's noon Eastern and 3pm Pacific for a 6 hour processing time, and they probably have a daily pickup service with FedEx, I don't see what's the big deal.

And considering there's been a few FedEx threads about Saver shipping being bumped to actually take 3 days (even though it's arrived at the FedEx facility in 2), you might not get it tomorrow.

Considering how long it used to (and sometimes still does) take Newegg to process orders, it is a big deal.

Glad you're having such good results. I placed an order with newegg last Friday afternoon (Detroit area) and they shipped it out that day. When did I get it? Wednesday. FedEx in our area will not deliver a package any sooner than the shipping method payed for states. Which in this case was third business day. They had no explanation for why 3rd business day was in fact 4 days in my case.

I had to RMA a mobo back to newegg and like the dumb _ss that I am I decided to FedEx it back. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment. It cost $9.00 for newegg to ship it to me, and $11.96 to send it back. Same box and packaging materials. Grrrr.

No more FedEx for me.

Love newegg, hate FedEx!

I think your speaking too soon. FedEX is know to let 3-day Express Saver packages just sit at the destination and not deliver them. You'll most likely get it Monday.

I doubt it. Every other package I've had delivered FedEx (usually from newegg:)) arrives the next day after making it to Atlanta. Every time. So hopefully I'll get my new toys tomorrow.

Yeah, I had that happen to me once. However, every other time, I got it early (see above).
