Long story short, I hooked up the iPod to the PC for charging and left the room. When I returned I was greeted with an iTunes that made it appear as if nothing was on my iPod at all. It was completely blank. I checked the iPod itself and if you navigate through the menus you will see that nothing is on here.
The kicker is that if you look at the bottom of iTunes it shows there is only ~ 20gb (out of 60gb) free. I navigated through the menu structure and found that all of my songs are actually there. I can even play them.
Does anyone know if there is a way to create a new contents file so that I can access all of my music through the iPod menus? Or am I going to have to try to export all of this music and then put it back into iTunes and then back over to the iPod?
(I'm tired as hell so if none of this makes sense I will clarify later once my mind has cleared a bit.)
