I finally RMA'd the drive. A 60GB 120GXP. Airborne Express today delivered a 92.6GB 180GXP, manufactured March 04, and under warranty, but the page doesn't say how long for.
Still would have been nice if it hadn't died. Though, I did stumble across an old 20GB drive that had a lot of the lost files still on it. So the overall loss was fairly minimal. And I gained 32.6GB, and various other minor hardware improvements.
