This is gonna be a strange request....but anyone see the.....I think its the Cadilac Escalade or perhaps the Blackwood commerceril where the car is driving in the desert and kicking up all the dust. In the background there is a song playing...I believe its a bass and a cello?
I know its vague description, lets see if anyone can find it..

I think I know what commercial you're talking about but isn't it with a Lexus and some other car simulating a crash? The crash isn't actually shown but it is implied because the final shot is the Lexus airbag being deployed in slow-mo.

Maybe that's a different commercial. I have no idea of the song name though. Did you try searching USENET?

Are you sure it's not the Mercedes ML commercial? Here's the song. All I know is that it's an original composition for the commercial.

If memory serves, I believe the music in that Escalade commercial was from Brainbug's "Nightmare."

Listen to the portion that starts at 01:58 here.

(Please let me know if the link does not work.)

I love you too. Be sure to clean up your room to make Momma happy. ;)

FYI, the Paul Oakenfold "Sinister Strings Radio Edit" most nearly resembles the Escalade commercial.

The CD of Nightmare contains these remixes:
  1. Sinister Strings Radio Edit
  2. Original Sinister Strings Mix
  3. Tall Paul Remix
  4. Burger Queens Remix
  5. Phat Manhattan Mix
  6. Club 69 Meets DJ Wild From Paris Mix
  7. Club 69 Future Mix
This album is out of press, but it's not rare, and used copies are easy to obtain for around $10 or less. I believe it may also be available on vinyl, but used vinyl isn't a very good bet online, IMHO.
