... lol........

yeah .. girls don't understand when you don't like them back .. cause they're used to desperate boys in high school .. I'm 24 in a couple of weeks, this girl is 20 .. I guess she doesn't understand that unlike 15 year old boys .. us 'older guys' need more convincing.

I don't kill kittens every chance I can get anymore ... I prefer a fully matured pussy.

pussycat!!! mods .. pussycat!

(playing on the whole "killing kittens" thing .. don't ban me)

just tell her what I told you to say word for word and you should be fine. The funny thing about life (atleast my life anyway) is that the girls I like don't like me back and the ones I couldn't care any less about won't leave me alone.

That's exactly what I did.
We really were hitting it off nice in the beginning. It was very NICE .. you know, like the kind of nice that parents would like. We watched a movie one night. We went to centre island (this is in Toronto BTW) one day and had an amazing time being hungry (everything was closed goddamit, I was supposed to buy her lunch) .. we did the whole romantic thing by the water .. the romantic thing in the garden maze thing .. the romantic thing on the bridge by some fvcking swans .. I'm telling you this was like the picture perfect date, best date I've ever been on actually. After we got back ashore (taking the ferry, oh how romantic!!!) .. I bought her dinner and we shared an appetizer of shrimp, cause she's never had shrimp before .. HOW SWEET!
We fell asleep on each other on the way home on the subway and it was VERY NICE!!!
Now .. after a few days I wanted to talk to her .. I mentioned that I wasn't sure .. "of what?" .. "of this whole thing you know, we're getting very married already" .. "what do you mean?" .. "well I don't know if this is what I want. I like you, but something is holding me back and my gut instinct is to get out. It shouldn't be that way, that is a bad sign. I don't want to string you along and make you think things that aren't there or won't happen. Better I come out and say it now rather than later." .. and etc etc
her reply to all this was .. "well I don't agree!"
and
"I like you too much to just let it end right now"
I think she thinks that she can convince me .. my mind is made up.

well if from time to time you mean my entirer life then yea I agree with you. I haven't been out on one date with one girl that I really liked, ever! Just a bunch of dates with girls that I thought were OK but liked them less and less as the date went on.

The way I see it, you only have two choices.

1) Bone one of her friends.
2) Send her my way for an evenin.

this kinda remonds me of the seinfeld episode where George wants to break up with this chick but she doesn't want to break up.

he makes a statement that was realy funny that was something to the effect of:

This isn't like launching missles from a submarine, where both both people have to turn their keys. When one person wants out thats it. I'm forcing you to turn your key!

On a aide note .. I would like to thank Yeild and Gotsmack for sharing their experiences with me, and the rest of us. Isn't it nice to have a YAGT on ATOT that isn't about liking some girl that thinks you're invisible, or being dumped. Thank you.

Oh yeah .. funny thing this is happening (and has happened) cause here is moi!

of course I do wear contacts during the day :)
it's like jekyl and hide up in here :D hah!

Have a nice long chat with her. Tell her that it isn't going to work, ya know, the usual.

That probably doesn't help you.

I can't see that helping him any.. (and me for that matter)

sorry smp, i am kinda borrowing your thread a bit...

What would you like us to say? That's what you should do. Rather than avoiding her, trying not to hurt her feelings, you have to have a conversation with her, tell her it isn't going to work between you, that you don't dislike her, it just doesn't feel right. There isn't much else you can do, unless you want to hurt her feelings. Which I would not recommend.

edit: if she really is in to you, its going to hurt her no matter what. You just gotta try to make it as little pain as possible.

very well put!
