Another free ISP deal from of all people ACE hardware. I picked up a CD at the local ACE Hardware store or you can visit
http://www.ourhouse.net

Not sure if its worth a crap or if the info even belongs in this forum, just thought I would put it up in case anyone is interested.

I think I speak for everybody when I say:

What the hell is ACE hardware doing having a free ISP?

I've got the scoop on that one...I work there. :p Ourhouse.net is giving out promotional discs wired by iwon.net and powered by spinway.com. They just happen to be given out by the Ace Chain.

It includes:
Unlimited Internet Access
iWon Account
E-mail Account
News
Search
etc....

The fine print...Local Access Numbers are available in most areas (not in my area), but you ARE RESPONSIBLE for any telephone charges.

Not a great deal....Poop on It!

Sluggo,
definitely a hot deal if there aren't any ads and good servers. I heard worldspy just got bought out by some other free isp company. If I remember correctly, it was Juno. I was looking forward to their dsl support but my friend now tells me it's no longer available. Bummer :(
Thanks for the deal!

Well if K-Mart has a free ISP (bluelight.com), then I guess Ace Hardware can too!

WorldSpy has been bought out by Juno. You will have to use Juno's bloated s/w to access the net. And see a lot of ads in the process.

Bluelight.com and lots of other FrISP's (Free ISP's) actually go through Spinway.com. They are a sort of middleman for setting these companies up. That's why the phone numbers are identical, they are all using the same network.
