Other then the problems listed in that other thread, anyone else having an issue with after closing all firefox windows, the firefox process begins to tax CPU usage ?


I come back home and my laptop's fan is at full speed, I look and its Firefox.exe causing that to happen! gerr
 
i've had that problem for a long time. It only happens occasionally, where it will stay open in the background. usually happens when i'm on a java site like WebCT/Blackboard. I have to ctrl+alt+delete kill it.
 
I've had it stay open a couple of times, but not with excessive CPU usage. I use ObjectDock, so it's easy to tell when a program is open, even without visible windows.
