Yet another ebay thread

Sooo, I bought a Dell battery off a reputable seller (id: polytran) almost a year ago. A ton of positive feedback with a negative in it every now and then. Batteries are sold with a 12 month warranty.

One week ago the battery stopped holding charge. Since the warranty is still on it, I tried contacting the seller. No response. I looked up negative feedback - and as you might have guessed it's all about seller not honoring the warranty and not responding to any attempts to contact him.

I guess I am SOL? Ebay/PayPal protection only works for 45 days. Anything else I can use?

I would say SOL. I have never seen any company ebay or not who actually warranties a laptop battery without some type of extra warranty cost. I figure a year with a battery is about right.
