I know [AT] stands for AnandTech. I just thought it was a coincidence that I ran into someone from AT on that server at that moment.
 
On the weekends there is a bunch of us ATer's playing. Last Friday there was probably 8 out of 12 of us with an [AT] in their name.
 
im always on [AT], i noticed that biggieN never has it...hehe

they are really annoying, on top of that they sucked. i think even Biggie took em.

I was on last night from about 11-2am. To be honest, {GBG}'s played fair. Nothing out of the ordinary or unfriendly happened.
I play as UnderScore and have yet to use the [AT] monkider because I use GameSpy controls my online profile and I have yet to change it.
 

Why worry about GBG when our own can not behave?

I played last night and was PISSED because we did not vote for MAP 5 a couple of A**HOLES
had to ruin the fun of the game.YES I am talking about the I_love _you people.
And yes I knew who you were your TAGS gave it away.
I don not mind playing speedball I actually like it but after playing 3 to 4 times in a row
it is also fun to play other maps.

Last night you acted like little babies because we would not play your map.
I thaught what a way to represnt AT forums act like a bunch of A**HOLES.

and on another note I think BALT should be the new king of campers.
 
Why do people complain about campers in CS? I mean, if you were playing UT or Quake3, I could see why you would be upset about camping, but I thought that CounterStrike was supposed to be more technical, and slightly less like a standard deathmatch/capture the flag style game. Camping is a valid part of a game that is centered on tactical skill and realism. In real life, would you run out into a field and instantly get your a$$ shot to bits? Or would you take a more cautious approach (i.e. "camping&quot😉?

Ranger X: I haven't run into any other [AT] players on public servers yet but [AT]CroToN is definitely from these forums. I always play under [AT]sully myself.

MISTER 2 U: I wasn't there, but majority usually rules, right? If you wanted a map change but a number of people didn't, don't really expect to get your way...some of ya need to remember trash-talkin' and posturing is part of the fun. eg. urbantechie's tendency to chat all in caps. 😉

Mithras: Yeah, agreed completely. The only time(s) I would define as camping would be hiding in a corner away from the actual objective where nobody is going to come by. Even that has its uses, though. But stuff like having Neo cover the flank of the Terrorist team with an AWP by positioning him just north of the T starting point on de_dust is strategy, not camping.
 
well ive seen people use other people to reach unreachable high points and snipe away...i guess there is a limit.

It was not I that wanted to change maps but others did. The majority did not want to change maps either.
Thats when these I love you people got pissed because no one wanted to change maps.
So what did they do they hid in a corner at thier spawn spot and kept typing VOTEMAP 5
and giving everyone sh!t.

I dont mind snipers either ( but it depends on map ) it gets boring when you come out of the buy window take a few steps
and bang your dead.Last night balt was sniping from a ledge so I would try to take tunnel and come in from behind.
Or I would try to snipe him.

They are a bunch of jerk off i was playng them on Militia and they were talking trash about at sayinhg how they are like the &quot;elite squad&quot; and how they want to teach at a lesson about sumthin...

I was alone and beating two of em 9 times out of 10... bes of the best my ass.
 
the reason i don't use the tag [AT] is because i forget to change it. i have 2 roomates that use my computer to play CS too so they always switch the names and controls. one plays with reverse mouse where i don't so i alwys have to remember to change it. we also play on our school lan for super lagless games. and they are an informal clan as well but i refuse to be identified as a &quot;clan&quot; member so i rarely have the tag on my name. now when i am playing on neo's if i remember i will change it.

as for the i love you people...only 1 person wanted to changed and remeber that they kept on hiding behind the crates at the terrorist spawn? i have tons of screenshots from that because that person kept on morphing into a box...glitch not a cheat. the other i love you members were on CT so we couldn't have camped...we had to run all the way to the t spawn and get wasted because someone else joined them in the camping.
 
Well if these GBG'ers are some punks them maybe I would have a chance of beating them. 🙂

I played for a bit with Dark SagE and I suck with a Sniper rifle. I also need to remember not to try typing while I'm playing as when your typing you can't move till you done. Twice now I got wasted while I was typing. I jusy need to try and concentrate on not getiing killed and leave the trash talking to everyone else.😉
