Yet another chipset question?!?!

My friend says that his DFI board will allow him to set at what temp the chipset fan activates. I was wondering if anyone could back him up on this? Is this true for many Nforce4 Boards? Sorry for the question, but I am just wondering....Before I didn't even think the chipset had a temp sensor
