The guy is posting here looking for help, and this is what you post? Go be a fanboy and troll elsewhere.
I do not see the faynboism tbh. He is just telling OP to make a clean install if you read between the lines, which the OP is doing, so we will know soon if that is indeed the issue.

Nowhere in Obsoleet's post did he say anything about a clean install. In fact, he gave no advice at all. Instead, he claimed the OP was ignorant and then posted a snide remark about "complaining". I'm sorry that you are blind to that.

I also do not find his tone particularly helpful, but I am not a moderator here so I leave it at that. Regarding the content, read and comprehend, please.

Hey guys, just a quick update:

The problem is solved. But not entirely as I had expected. Apparently the newer versions of CCC are not allowing for using both of the Crossfire cables. Here is how I discovered this:

After the new install, I didn't have a single blue screen all day. But then on day two, I discovered that Crossfire was not enabled. So I enabled it, and about 30 seconds later, BLUESCREEN AGAIN.

Then it occurred to me -- I wonder if I should not have used both of the crossfire cables? I don't know why this occurred to me - perhaps by a stroke of lucky thought, or perhaps by divine intervention (God). Probably the latter.

So I did a little googling (about 5 minutes) and saw that Crossfire only requires one cable, as per stated on the ATI website. Moreover, pictures showed people using only one cable. Further, people said they noticed zero performance decrease using only one cable. Moreover, the other second part is meant if you want to add three or four cards together. Even more important, however, is that some people mentioned that their cards "freaked out" when they used both cables.

So I went ahead and removed one of the two cables, and using the stable 12.10 version of CCC, I proceeded to run extensive graphics benchmarks, including Heaven, Aquamark, and 3D mark. All of them ran perfectly, without a single hitch. I even ranked #3 on a couple of the tests on HWBOT for 2x HD 7950.

In conclusion, SUCCESS!!! :) :) :)

Thanks everyone for your help; I'm sure that this thread will help some other users who have this problem in the future.

Glad you solved your problem. In case you were wondering why there are two connectors on the cards, it is for tri-fire or quad-fire.

I saw a few bluescreens on beta drivers, but never while running release versions. That is, no video card caused bluescreens, I did have some due to bad memory, but that had nothing to do with the video card or drivers.

Yes, from now on I will only use stable versions of CCC and will only use one crossfire cable.
