Complete BS on multiple fronts.

1. Running a 12 1/4 in my Shelby is just as fun, if not more, than running a 10 on my ZX-6. They're both amazing, for different reasons. Of course a motorcycle has more performance for less money, that doesn't make high performance cars pointless and stupid. They're just different, better in some ways, worse in others.

2. I'd rather have the clap than a 7 year old Mercedes.

3. Better for the price? What does Europe have that competes, for the price, with the Corvette? Or the Mustang? Which VW is more reliable than a Focus, or a Fusion?

I will put my vote in for an evo IX. You can find a lower mileage one for around 20 grand. Just find one with good maintenance history and you will be fine. Slap on a bigger turbo, an exhaust, tune on E85 and enjoy 500+ awhp.

Don't expect it to be comfy or plush, but it will have bike like speed, can be driven in any conditions, and be a lot of fun.

Well, I almost got a Mustang. But since I wanted to keep it under 20k, that put me around the 2009 Mustang era, and that 315hp 4.6 just doesn't cut it, especially with the new 5.0 currently out.

Plus, I pass like 15 Mustangs on my way into work every day. Everyone has a Mustang. Particularly zit-faced high schoolers with their hats on sideways, it seems.

I pass zero G8's. And after having coupes forever, I really have gotten used to using the back seat on my current GP. Getting old and lazy I guess.

So far, this thing hauls. And I like it a lot.
