Maybe it's just me and I totally missed the post on this but I thought Richard Dean Anderson on the simpsons would have been discussed. The episode was pretty bad as usual, but the india outsourcing bit was decent.

What about it were you expecting to be discussed? I thought the episode as a whole was dissapointing.

I tried watching a few this season...they're HORRIBLE. Used to be they would satire fairly recent events, and well....but now the rare times they actually do satire something, the writing is horrid. I don't think it's an issue with the show being on too long, because there's always new issues in America to be riffed on, but the writing is just atrocious.

Yea, this last episode was a PERFECT example of this. In this one rather then tackling something like outsourcing they uhh.. just spewed random one liners for 30 minutes... oh wait a minute.. I guess maybe the writing was bad, but i didn't think it was one of the worse episodes.

I still happen to enjoy most of what the simpson's outputs. To each their own I guess ;)

When Homer asked how Wiggum was, and Marge said he was shot, and Homer said "He's fuuunnnyyy" was the most retarded writing I've ever heard on that show. WE GET IT. HOMER IS STUPID.

Happened to be visiting my brother and he had it on. I didn't watch the episode...but caught that part with Richard Dean Anderson.
