The day, not the burgers ... though, it is almost lunch time ... mmmmm, burgers.

Anyways, at my company they pay an extra $10/hr on Wednesdays because they know how hard it is to stay motivated through the whole week. They also have other planned activities that we do on Wednesdays throughout the month:

1st week: Ice cream sundae's in the break room. You know I'm not lying because if i were, I'd say 'served by chicks in bikinis' ...

2nd week: All American Award to one lucky individual who is above the rest. We call this our special retard award because normally it's given to someone who is sub-par, but we want to try and lift their spirits to get back on the wagon.

3rd week: Dunk booth that managers sit in during break time.

4th week: Wannabe-American Award to one of our competent non-American friends!

Oh, oh, and on leap years we draw straws and the winner gets to take the boss' hot super model girlfriend out for a night on the town. No questions asked! I've won twice in the 3 years I've worked here!

Once in a while on Fridays we all go out for hookers and blow, but it's not in the official handbook.

What do the rest of you guys do on Wednesdays to stay motivated?
 
What do we do on Wednesdays to get motivated?

Nothing, we're professionals. We have benefits, group outings and events, happy hours....but we arent given toys on certain days to keep us motivated on that particular day.

I didn't realize Hookers'n'Blow Friday was that common, though.
 
i like wednesdays because that's the day Yahtzee releases his new videos every week. also, cause it's my shortest day of the week (a 4 hour elective that i already finished) so i get to go home early.
