yes or no?

why all the negativity?

i have in my sisters rig a 1800 tbred that does 2161 (216x10) @ 1.75v with my sp97

i dont remember if this was the ceiling or if i just got bored/ran out of time

thats pretty close to the 3200+ speed of 2.2ghz....minus half the cache of course...

but then again, im sure i dont have the best gem out there so im sure someone out there has enough speed to overcome the 2.2ghz and the extra 256 cache

btw it ran at 1925 (166x11.5) at stock voltage, which is about 400mhz over the stock speed, all prime stable of course

Yes, some can and have, it is just you don't really hear about them anymore as they are yesterdays news, and even then the 1700+ got all the notoriety. 3200+ speeds are 2.2ghx (11x200), so the mobo needs to be able to do 200fsb with an unlocked TBred or if the cpu is locked, 191 fsb (11.5x191). To get 3200 performance, you may need an extra 100-200mhz to overcome the lack of cache. Of course not all TBred Bs will do this speed, and TBred A's will not.
