Yes! My grades this semester rock!

Got my grades for this semester yesterday: grades. The history grade perplexes me, since I got a C+ on the midterm, a B on the paper, and had just class participation and the final to pull me up. My GSI really likes me though, so it was probably a discretionary thing. 🙂

I'm holding down a 3.761 GPA halfway through college (I've got 60 credits now, and need 120 to graduate). Congratulate me! 😛

How'd y'all do gradewise?

I think it depends on the major/area of study. I think it's really rare for an enginerd to have above a 3.5 (especially at umich), but for majors like PoliSci or English or History, it's doable. However, many of my friends who are in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at UM don't have a 3.5. I chalk it up to laziness though. I'm smart, but I'm not naturally a genius. I just work really really hard. 🙂

congrats...and don't listen to the naysayers. keep working hard and w/a 3.76 from UMich, you're on your way to a good job or good grad school.
