Instead of getting my boyfriend something- nice -that he wouldn't be able to use or care for too much, I decided to set up a LAN party with all his friends as his Christmas present. He's been wanting to do this for almost a year. So, tonight's the night and everything came off perfectly! No leaks about it beforehand, all the computers are working, plenty of pizza, and just about everyone showed up. So, the holidays resound with sounds of... counterstrike. But I think I found the best gift I could this year. 😀 Maybe I'm not a computer nerd but I'm not a bad girlfriend for one.

Sorry Jerboy, no pics. 🙂 And IMNSHO, he definitely doesn't personify the nerd image - a pretty hot guy in fact. And fortunately I think he liked the idea. His best friend and I have been assembling it ($$$ as well as planning) for a few months to make sure it all worked together right.
 
man, i think that's an awesome present... cs with all your best friends... in one room! the girls i hang out with don't even know what a lan is.... 😉
 
Well, just woke up. An allnighter usually doesn't knock me out that much, but I think it was worth it. I don't really know what he thought of the idea as a gift, but I'm sure he had fun.
