I had Lucas on Oct. 9th, at 2:20 A.M.

It was a fast one! Laboured for about 2 hrs. and pushed for 15mins.

Here's some pics: Baby :)

I had pics e-mailed to my friends within 3 hours of the birth of my son. I wasn't posting on ATOT at that time though.

Our crazy hippy doctor was very impressed with my wifes placenta and showed it to her...

Nothing beats the home birth though.. I pulled the placenta out of the freezer a couple of months later... :)

3 of the 4 of my kids were delivered by the wife in less than 2 hours after the water broke.

I know, he looks so sad :( He actually stopped crying as soon as we started moving. So far...he's not a crier at all! Just when he's hungry or needs a change.

He's the complete opposite of my first....thank goodness! I love my 2.5 yr. old now...but boy oh boy as an infant he was tough! :)

I dunno, I had one long labor (15 hours) and one short (2 hours or less), and I have to say that I had the same amount of pain both times, it's just that all the pain from 15 hours was compressed into 2 the second time. You get it over with faster, but the intensity of pain was unbelievable.
