we just had the tournament game in the dorm...i landed on the "turn crank" space and i was down to 2 pieces of cheese. one guy was already out of the game, one was in the cheese wheel space, and the other was in the safe zone. i needed to roll a 5 with the first piece of cheese to get the other guy in the cheese wheel space, but i rolled a 1!!!

that meant i needed to roll a 4 to get him in the cheese wheel space, and i did!! WOOHOO! i am the 3rd floor champion!

edit: FVCK!!!! semi-finals today and it came down to just two of us. i had eliminated the other 2 players about 5 moves before this...got em both in 1 turn so i collected like 20 pieces of cheese.

here is the big WTF!!! i was on the cheese wheel space and i rolled a 1. i landed on the safe spot. my opponent landed on turn crank on his next turn, but he only had 5 pieces of cheese. the chances of him rolling me into the cheese wheel space to be defeated is slim. on his LAST PIECE OF FVCKING CHEESE, he rolled the dice OFF OF THE TABLE and he got the number he needed.

this is CLEARLY a violation! he should have re-rolled! 🙁

yes, that is why it is so amazing that i won because i hated setting it all up. i was SO scared it wasnt going to set off the trap since i was all out of cheese.
 
I won my school's Risk tournament last year...we had maybe 11 people, and I PWNT them. 😀

I only remember playing that game like twice, but when you're six or seven, it's a lot harder to get it set up. Still a fun game, though.
 
You are so lucky to have such a tournament. I used to play Mouse Trap alone, or with a friend. That was the best game ever!

I used to just set it up, and trip then reset the trap over and over again. I have no idea what the rules to that game are, but ive sprung the trap hundreds of times 😛
 
For some reason, I thought you were talking about mousetrap the computer game. I remember playing that on my Amiga when I was like 10.
