Taking a class in elementary Mandarin

Edit: I was just neffing around, I'm taking the Mandarin class at night after work so I can learn Chinese and impress my parents (and asian chicks.. there's just something about them). To clarify, I have a bachelor's in Computer Science already and work full-time. But, all the encouraging comments from everyone that assumed I was starting at a community college were remarkable . I was expecting a lot of dissing. I have a renewed faith in you all!

I received a BS in Computer Science from UC Davis in 2003 . Being what you would call a "whitewashed" Asian I've always been chided by friends and family for being unable to speak Chinese. This is my effort to keep it real.

Plus, it's only $29/unit. College was about $40k altogether, and business school is "$800/unit" ($60k).
