It's been about a week and a half since I rolled my ankle and damaged my ligaments in my left foot playing basketball. This was by far the worst week of my life. I wouldn't wish this kind of frustration on anyone. I broke the handle on my shower door the first time I tried jumping out, dropped/broke two plates while hopping to the dinner table, and worst of all it happened right before school started so I walked around school on crutches. I'd work up a sweat just trying to get to class.
This was the first time I had sprained/broken anything, so it was quite an experience. It's not over yet, but I have a newfound appreciation for people with similar conditions. Sounds cheesy, but it *does* make you realize how much you take for granted on a daily basis.
On that note, has anyone broken/sprained their right leg? How, if you could, did you drive a car? The first couple of days were hard enough for me just because I had to keep my leg elevated while waiting in traffic, and every pothole would send a stinging pain through my ankles.
Just sharing my experience. Have a nice day
