Yep you guessed it I have!

I absolutely detest the malls During December so I always try to get it all done by then. Got a pretty good start so far. Man though it was a lot easier to shop last year when I did'nt have a 7.5 month old tagging along!:)

On line shopping is a good thing! I got all the toys for the kids we buy for at the Bay (Canadian Store). Sure saves going to the toy stores...what a zoo!

Christmas... HUMBUG!
Rampant western gluttony and consumerism.
Yes, I do love to buy sh!t for people, when they need something I'll be the first to get it for them if I can and they can't. I revel in the spirit of Jesus on a cross all year round. Christmas is a sham.

Yep....My first time seeing a xmas 'rumble' was waaaaay back in the day:

I was like 10 and was with my parents who were looking to get my sister a first year cabbage patch doll. They found one and placed it in the cart (at Children's Palace). As they were looking around a lady actually took the doll out of OUR cart and started RUNNING to the front to pay for it!!! My Dad put an abrupt 'end' to that with a well placed kick to the lady's foot (which pretty much splayed her out on the floor :) ). I couldn't believe my eyes.....my old man 'beating up a lady'!!! Funniest damn thing I ever heard. What was even funnier was the lady was kicked out of the store by security (they actually witnessed it)!!! Insanity at it's best.

I do agree with the comment of Christmas being commercialized...but having said that, I absolutely love buying presents for friends and family! I also love doing all the fun stuff that goes along with Christmas. Like taking the Christmas train in Stanley Park and Go to the show of lights at the Vancouver Zoo. As well as driving around or walking around and looking at the Christmas lights! When we go up to the Okanagan at Christmas to see my family, we always go ice skating at the hockey rink and build snowmen and go toboganning!

Christmas is what YOU make it!

It would be nice to get the shopping done early. But I really love christmas shopping during the holiday season. The atmosphere and decorations and music in the malls really puts me in the xmas mood. I do dislike the crowds but I guess thats the price you pay for waiting.

Not me.

I'm a last minute shopper, and I love it. I thrive on the pressure, and end up getting people some of the coolest gifts, even in spite of the fact that I buy all of my gifts in one day.

This year i'll be shopping on... *looks at calendar* ... December 22. :D

Okay I'll tell you...It's a "love" parcell you know with all the "fun" toys in it! Being that he's such a ladies man I thought he'd appreciate it! j/k.

If I told you then I'd I have to kill you! ;)

The only shopping I do beforehand is if I happen to run across something and think that it might be a good gift for someone. I'll usually get a 1/3rd or so done that way throughout the year. Then I spend the last week packing stuff in. The funniest part is when my dad has done his Christmas Eve runs. Practically no gifts yet and he heads out to all the local stores and the mall sometime during the afternoon and spends the next 6 or so hours buying up as much stuff as he can get. I'm sure the stores love him at that time because he grabs anything in sight that looks moderately interesting saying that if it really sucks, he'll just return it later (although that happens maybe 10% of the time for items that do suck, heh). He then pawns out the gift wraping on everyone else and it is usually finished somewhere around midnight or 1 am, heh.
