Is there a freeware yEnc encoder/decoder that works with netscape?
If so please, point it out to me . . . I prefer netscape's newsbrowser . . .and would prefer something that worked with the older 4.7x version of netscape communicator, though I am willing to upgrade to 6.X if i have to :) thanks!

Yenc sucks..... for some files you may not even get a size reduction and there seems to be encoding problems with large files. I hope that it's just a flash in the pants.

There is an article on why Yenc is bad in a story on slashdot either yesterday (25th) or the day before (24th).

grabit is a nice simple freebie
not too intense but it works
newsbin pro does yenc, hell agent even supports it now too

but grabit is nice, easy and free
