I don't think that everything Kanye releases is good. I hated 808's. I see value in Yeezus.

Im jamming to it right now. I ain't worried bout nothin'.

Boycott this piece of shit so we don't have to hear about him or his fucking skank whore hypocrite of a girlfriend any more.

I can't believe that chick who quick her job via a dance video made Kanye West's "Gone" a Billboard Top 100 like 5 years after it was released.

Damn.

Made me go back and pull out "The College Dropout" just to jam to it again.

To each their own...he can fall off a cliff and the world would be a better place.

This

I listen to his 1st and 2nd album and cannot say I liked it at all. And that was way back when I actually enjoyed hip hop.......

I have no idea or clue why he is even popular or what people see in his crap.

Whatever.

I don't think the album is racist, just based on reviews and articles I've read. Also the "eatin' Asian pussy I need sweet and sour sauce" line from "I'm In It" doesn't help lol.

😕 How can you say thats not racist?

If it was "eating black pussy, now I need some fried chicken" would you feel the same?

lol the "racist" hype over that line from "Im In It" blew over SO long ago.

On the same album, Kanye also said he'd stick his fist in a girl "like a civil rights sign".

So, of course, people said the album was also about violence against women.

Hell, I thought there'd be more controversy over "Black Skinhead" than "I'm In It"

I would feel like that saying doesn't really make a lot of sense. You don't put fried chicken on "black" people food.

But, I'm sure he drops quite a few N bombs in the album. But, that is okay and not racist. Suggest that "eating Asian pussy" is similar to eating Asian food and referencing putting sweet and sour sauce (which is an Asian sauce) is over the line though!

You'd be OK with an asian guy singing "eating black pussy, now I need some fried chicken"?

On the same album, Kanye also said he'd stick his fist in a girl "like a civil rights sign".

Oh thats OK then, that makes it sooo much better.

No comment about the violence. But it does make him sound like a vulgar, juvenile misogynist.

That might be my favorite one!

Wasn't he just involved in a big flap on Conan saying he wants to influential, Micheal Jackson, ect. This crapper's got an ego that's disgusting..http://www.eonline.com/news/428983/kanye-west-compares-himself-to-michael-jordan-and-steve-jobs-doesn-t-regret-cutting-off-taylor-swift
Lol. He did make a track called "I Am God (feat. God)" on Yeezus.

I think he went crazy at some point around the time his mom died. 808s wasn't a bad album, and I enjoyed it a lot. Same with Dark Twisted Fantasy, but his themes started changing a lot. His earlier work was about him being up and coming, and things associated with it.

1) The exact line was "Eating Asian pussy, all I need is sweet and sour sauce".

I don't see what's so racist about the line. He alludes to pussy being food....in particular, Asian food. It has nothing to do with being racist or stereotyping asians. He is literally talking about EATING asian pussy.

2), I didn't say it made anything "better", just pointing out that he says wilder shit on the album.

3) No comment about the violence? I'm surprised you didn't take issue with that.
