Oh yeah! I remember seeing these picks in the DC forum :). My 3 servers (486,P150,Cyrix 366) are tucked away underneath a stairwell where I have to kneel in order to get to them :) oh and they are with the kitty litter too :p

I updated the post, go look :) Now all my geekiness is on show.

And my room hit 120 degrees earlier in the year before I put in the aux air conditioner. No joke. That is why in the house I am building, I am going to cool the computer setup by recirculatiing water outside under ground. That is not a joke either.

Evadman, you rule :). I plan on putting a computer in my truck but haven't had the chance to do it yet.

Of course the question is... Evadman, do you have a significant other? :)

Firt, I have my computer rack. It currently holds 5 servers along with 100's of watrs for just about everything. If you look closely, you will see not only the 5 systems on the top self and the LCD for displaying the data, but you will find 4 mobo's ( 2 tyan Tiger's and 2 K7S5a's ) 18 AT keyboards, 2 extra system cases, a buncof Power supplies, some Drills, some surge suppressors, 7 floppy drives, 2 24 port switches, a bunch of bins which have ectra CPU's, fans, HSF's, a few lb's of computer screws, yada yada.

Then we spin around to my workstation. If youwant to call it that. It is where I am sitting now :) We have lots and lots of caffene and alchool. And 4 computers. That siler briefcase is a computer too. See?

pic #1 You can see my dinner!

Then we have the lazy side of me. Why the hell would I want to walk up a flight of stairs when I ahve to post something to AT? I want to do it now. In that respect, I have my downstaris work room. 2 more computers and one laptop.

downstairs

Oh crap, but what about when I am on the road and want to post something? What will I do then? Oh ya, I built a wireless setup for my truck so I can connect when I am out and about. Does right into my wireless etup in my room. I warn you, these pictures may blind you with my geekiness.

First we take My truck and add an aerial. What is an aerial you ask? This is an aerial And Here is another pic of it. the signal then goes into the cab to My Lanbox which then lights up the pretty 14.1" LCD. Is driving and surfing legal?

I left out some things, like my 400lb toolboxes full of computer tools and parts, but hey, it's ok.

Whoa.... (insert appreciative whistle here) nice rack, very nice rack dude :)

<--can't believe she's admiring racks on the web :D

LOL, no that is at work :). The one in the shed is lying down taking a cat5 nap (isn't that punny!) until I have a place to set it up.
