why don't they realize that the umps call is how it is, disputing it and getting pissed about it does nothing.......some people, just lack logic, oh well, parents need to cool it, that comic says it all.....

My wife is pregnant with our first kid, and I used to look forward to him/her playing sports. I learned a lot and still have fond memories of youth soccer, football and basketball. Now, though, I don't know if I want him/her involved in this crap at all. The parents are inexcusable of course, but a KID shoved an umpire? I can't even comprehend what would have happened to me if I had done that as a 15 year old, because it is not even something that I would have thought of as even a remote possibility. I guess the two go hand in hand though. The same redneck moron parents who brawl at a little league game don't teach their kids a damn thing about the spirit of athletic compitition or sportsmanship. They are blinded by greed and desire for a "mealticket" kid. Like I heard someone on the radio say, these parents never seem to think, "hey, my kid has my DNA, they probably ain't going to be major league ball players."
