Doesn't seem that long ago that I was making my first post on AnandTech. And here I am more than 3 years later, making this Lifer post.

It wasn't too long after that the obsession began. I'm damn proud of that thread as it seems it turned more than a few people into fans!

I dunno...AT's been my escape, and my excuse on many occasions, especially OT. I've met a ton of cool people on here, made some good friends, and had a generally good time (So long as asshopper wasn't around ) So basically...where's yakko with my key to the bathroom? :Q

The way I've been neffing these past two months, I may be a Lifer by next year at some point. I think I had less than a thousand posts until December....

Yeah man, I hear ya - It seems like a lot of what we used to have around here has long since faded. I still come and nef around a bit, but it's nowhere near what it used to be.

That's not to say that there aren't any cool people around here, it's just to say that this place has changed. It's all good though~

Edit: Dave - I agree, some people have hit lifer in < 1 year, haven't they? :Q

Yeah me too. Since November I've gone from 1500 posts to this. Just goes to show what happens when you get really really sick.

Yeah but it's sad when I joined a year after you and have 1500+ more posts than you. Sick or not, 5500 posts in a year is just sad, especially considering most of them didn't come from summer.

I posted very little my first year here...I mostly just read threads/lurked. In fact, I remember clearly when I finally broke the threshold to Senior Member (200 posts) - it was only last July Q) during a massive Hot Deals thread about the video card I ended up buying.
