Yeah Yeah, I know my rent is more than your mortgage...

I'm tired of people telling me how their mortgage is less than my rent. Did you ever think it's maybe because you bought your house 6+ years ago before people started going insane with prices. If I wasn't 19 six years ago I probably would have a house too instead of paying $1600 for a two bedroom apartment. And sorry if I don't want to fork out $550k for a 2 bedroom condo built in 1976 just so I could hopefully build some kind of equity. No thanks.

Oh, and I really don't care about your cousins friend who lives in Texas or where ever that just bought a huge house for $98k and felt they got ripped off. If you want I'll buy it and rent it to them.

Just a rant about living in California. Thanks for reading...

I bought my house 1 year ago....and my mortgage is still a lot less than your rent. The problem is location, not age.

your 2bd rent is more than my 2bd rent. And I do live in california 🙂
I pay $950 to rent a 2bd condo with balcony in Mountain View

And what do you do for a living? Obviously, if you're paying taxes... you're not selling drugs, so I'm curious.
