He is. Prosecutors have immunity for what they say in court, but they don't get that protection when talking to the press. He's wide open for suits for slander and defamation of character as well as violation of their civil rights. They can ruin him financially for the rest of his life.

actually according to court reports the police were trying to get him to slo down and drop it. but they really have NO choice in the matter. they had one detective who said they told him they couldnt prove the boys did it.

Not only that, they probably never had physical contact. No DNA anywhere on her body that matched the students, only from other (non-student) guys...

They didn't hire a hooker. They hired a stripper. A fine line, but there IS a difference.

DA prosecuted to win his election and said to hell with the kids even if they're innocent. Nifong and the girl are the real evil ones here.

Nifong is evil for making the students go through hell for political gain when he had evidence that would have all but exonerated Finnerty, Seligmann, and Evans.

The "victim" changed her story multiple times and has previously claimed a rape happened to her before, a little over ten years ago... guess what? Prosecution dropped the case because they couldn't verify ANYTHING she said.

You know who should really pay? The media for crucifying Duke students who didn't deserve that, and for portraying us as spoiled rich bastids (Newsflash: There's a small minority of those at every school). Then they play the race card, let's not even get into that... (Notice: I'm NOT white, or wealthy).

President Brodhead and the rest of Duke's administration didn't respond appropriately to the whole ordeal. Rather than defending Duke's honor and reputation they let the media smear the hell out of us. Also, some professors basically called the accused kids guilty without knowing a SINGLE fact.

The FACT of the matter is that the kids DID NOT rape anyone and DID NOT commit any crimes. Another FACT is that Nifong exploited the case for his own personal gain at the expense of those kids.

Public execution would be too good for him.

EVEN the "rape" victim said she couldnt remember if they penetrated her. NOT To mention one guy she claimed that came in her vagina WAS NOT EVEN AT THE PARTY.

Nifong abused his power. he lied, didnt turn over evidance and refused to listen to others when there was evidance that proved they were not there.
