Blowing like hell here, N.E. of Colorado Springs (Black Forest). Calling for 11"-36" depending on who you listen to. Tough to tell how much snow we've gotten with all the drifting - I'd guess at least 12"+. No flickering lights just yet, but I heard a loud crack a bit ago, so we may have lost a tree.

I'm getting ready to go walk to the store for some smokes. No snow boots either. LoL!

I'll take my camera along and see what's out there. 🙂

About 14" as of now (1:30p) here in Aurora. After shoveling the driveway, I decided to make the best of it and started terrorizing the neighborhood with the Quad. The only real bummer is that this is murder on the trees around here.

<-----Denver, DU area, and this is the most snow I've seen all season here. This calls for a day of sledding followed by cocoa.

Well the kids were getting a buit of cabin fever and wanted to go out - so we spent 20 minute suiting up for what amounted to about a 5 minute expedition 😛

Here are some more pics:

Latest forecast I've seen calls for an additional 3" to 6" by morning, so it's kinda big but not huge.

yea i was looking out the window and saw water dripping while it was snowing. i looked at my theromoter and it was about 37 or so. i got about 10 inches in my yard and if it wasnt melting i bet we would have over a foot. right now its 29 and the melting has stopped.

Yeah, it's pretty bad here too.

:middlefinger;

I just went and drove in the snow here. Still a bit above freezing so there's no ice, just slush. I went into the parking lot of the shopping center across the street and let my old bus play in the snow. Diving into drifts and berms is its favorite pastime! 😉

When I came back I let my 22 month old daughter go play in the snow in front of my apartment. She had a blast... for 10 minutes. LoL!

It was maybe 12 inches, not bad at all if you ask me. Got to work fine this morning, although I am pretty much the only one. Which is pretty rediculous considering. The roads were just fine except on the side streets.

Not too bad this morning. Fired up the jeep and drove around the front and back driveway a few times to give the sun a head start. Depending on what the clouds do, there's a good chance the driveway will just be wet by mid-afternoon.

We had a few sites in co lose power, one was running on generator all night. The power company said they were going to call it quits about midnight, and said they'd be back out this morning. We then got a low fuel alarm for this site, come to find out its a 500 gallon tank, and alerts when its half empty. Talk about being paranoid.

Also 2003...

Oct 97 was a big one - I don't recall anything extraordinary in '03? I think I remember a spring storm about the size of this one.
