Yea! Brighthouse upgraded my cable modem service for free!!

Brighthouse Networks here in University Park, FL, they use RoadRunner. I'm guessing the upgrade is to compete with FIOS around here.

I noticed files seem to be going quite a bit faster the past few days, ran a speedtest and its up to about 18/2

I only pay for 10/1 (though i usually got 7/1 for the past few years)

Hate to admit it, but I don't know what speed I'm paying for, but this is what dslreports says I have: 6.6m/487

I have Brighthouse here in St. Pete.

My OOL started at 10/1 a few years ago.
Then we got a boost to 15/2 for free.
I got OOL Boost service which jumped it to 30/2 for an extra $9.95.
They upped 30/2 to 30/5 for free.
The last upgrade they did for me was Unlim down/5up for free. I can avg ~4.1MB/s from usenet now.

cox cable told me they were upgrading me for free to 15mb service. speed tests say its 6.5 solid most of the time, and when i got my bill it went up 20 bucks a month. some free upgrade there.
