Awesome. I paid off my mortgage on my home, and now my Company tells us they're moving out of the country. I thought i was going to be on easy street. I just can't catch a break. Oh well, let the job search begin! Anyone need a soon-to-be unemployed Distribution Manager? At least I can sign up for TAA...Trade Adjustment Assistance Act
Free education in a new field, heh....I have no idea what I want to do!

I recommend taking advantage of the TAA oppurtunity. I was in the program in 2001 when my company moved overseas, and it was great. School, books, mileage, and unemployment all paid for two years. You have the chance to get 2 years of stress free schooling.

No one had any opportunity.

So they are moving to get cheaper labor?

Yep. I don't think anyone would have moved with them anyway....They're relocating to Haiti(only the poorest nation on earth, I believe)!

The training is up to three years now. At age 53, this really isn't a great time to change careers.
