Yayyy ... My First EBAY problem child.....

<sigh> some people's kids</sigh>
No one here is Limbaugh_fan at yahooey dot com are you??
If you are, dude, send the mic back, you'll get your dough as long as it isn't a brick in the box.
If not, ignore what I just said and KISS MY ************************ agh spurt, geez what a
infection of a human....
should'a known with a handle like "LIMBAUGH FAN!!!!" :disgust: 😱 😉
I woke up out of a dead sleep @ 5:00 am to his demand for a refund and now I've replied to Paypal and I'm going back to bed.
Continue neffing and sniping at random.

edit: ohhhh he's complaining about something 😕

I have a problem child as a buyer of a microphone I sold via ebay. Guy is complaining of Cigarette odor (it was in a studio for 20+ years and just came out of storage), but didn't ask any questions prior to using Buy It Now.
So He's filed for a refund, despite language stating no returns in my ebay listing....
Ahhh, just another brick in the wall.

Why does he want a refund? If you didn't misrepresent the item, I would not be inclined to refund.

Oh I see, well I have bought items off ebay before and didn't ask about smoke but did smell it, too bad! He can clean the item with alcohol and get rid of the majority of the smell right away. If you are going to accept return make him give you a positive first, don't torture yourself and then get a negative after all your effort.

You know, I had a feeling when this guy bought that trouble was afoot. Anyway, he's complained to PayPal, left a negative, I've responded in kind, and am waiting for Paypal to decide if the transaction is valid. He bought an Re-20 microphone, thats what he receieved. The subjective condition is what is in question.
I noted he has made no mention of returning the mic. If I don't receive it, I get to go to the USPS for fraud.
Yayyy... :frown:

Since you have proof of shipment, doesn't he have to prove that he returned it to you before paypal can give him his money back? W/O your consent.

As long as your item description said it was like 20 years old, it's fine.

A microphone isn't generally something you'd feel a need to describe its odor...

Well I didn't mention age, but then again, he used "Buy It Now" with out any questions on his part either.
I mentioned in the PayPal inquiry, that had he asked, I would have told him what I've said on the other microphones I've sold, Used in Private studio for 15 plus years, stored for four years, and bench checked as described.
BTW, the physical descriptions came from disinterested third parties, friends, girlfriends, etc.
My fear is if they do refund his money, if I will get back the same mic I sold this guy, if I ever get it back at all.
