Great card. I had the Leadtek PCI-E version and it's great, but I just got a X800XL to replace it, which is even greater. But i'm not as happy as you are though coz none of them are presents!!!! I have to buy them myself. Broke now.

IMO, even if a x800xl is better then a 6600gt now, the SM3.0 will catch up with x800's 2.0

i would take the 6xxx series over any ATI card, though i actually prefer ATI over nvidia

good stuff. Enjoy the card. Leadtek is a good brand. I had the Leadtek 6600GT AGP a while back but gave it to my little cousin who wanted it to play CS Source on. The time I spent with it was delightful. The card is just so damn fast.

I'm excited...i live in Indiana, (close to indianapolis) so about how long does newegg take to ship with standard methods?

From my experiences, it's taken about 3 days from the time it's ordered to the time it's at my doorstep. Usually order Sunday and have it on Wednesday.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday! That's a great gift and if I would have gotten that I wouldv'e kept it and not gotten my Sapphire X800XT PE. Your card overclocks quite well and supports SM 3.0! And, not to mention, you're going to have an advantage in OpenGL games like Doom3 and CoR (Chronicles of Riddick!). Have fun and enjoy!

Well it shipped from NJ on friday morning....i live in indiana....so should i expect it monday? i dont think they deliver on sunday...

cuz newegg said i should expect it on wednesday.....

You will probably get it on Tuesday. I live in PA and recently placed 2 orders with Newegg, both of which came one day before the estimated delivery date. (One package came from TN and one from NJ).
