Still in college, went from a $10/hr ($20,800/yr plus occasional OT) job where i really just did whatever they threw at me, to a salaried $32,000 a year developer position.

Also in the past 3 weeks I moved into a new apartment (living alone for the first time ever), and ended up with an absolutely wonderful girlfriend.

So does this mean that I'm due to be hit by a train or what? I'm not used to this kind of luck.
 
Congrats. Just remember, sometimes things arent always as good or bad as they seem.

Not to rain on your parade, but:

1. She could be a guy :shocked:

2. Your new boss will turn out to be a dick

3. You discover black mold in your new apt

Good for you, but you are still on the low end regarding your pay (at least for a developer), get some experience and get something better
