I wouldn't say the M3 is a less-desirable car than the M5 - they are just different. Both are wonderful performance machines, and among the best cars in the world. I think if I could choose to have just one car, the M5 would be my pick, but if I had another car for day-to-day driving and long trips, I might go for the M3, which is arguably more nimble and tossable than its larger sibling.

to some people anyway.
(me would rather have an m3 than an m5. id put the extra money into building a faster car. but that's just me)

then you are basically saying you'd rather have a civic with some mods than an M3? If you have the money to buy an M5, you dont care about making it go fast, since its already fast as hell. You have to realize that people dont buy these to race on the streets against some f-body.

im sorry for stating my opinion =/ the reason i dont wnat an M5 is because it is too big for me. id rather have a car that's just as fast (at legal speeds anyway) that's smaller and more tossable. id be perfectly content with an M3 and a faster, used, track/fun car. do you know how much 20k in the used market is?
i never EVER said id take a raced out civic than an m3. sh!t, i beat civics in my TRUCK (well, the riced out ones in my area
). but for the 70k base price of an M5, you could get an M3 and have 20k (well 15k?) for a used car. that's completely different than what you're trying to confuse me for.[edit] edited out the idiot part [/edit]
