I brought so video ram sinks today, i stick them on and decide should clean the HSF to reapply AS5... after I took off the HSF, i saw nicely applied Artic Silver. Wat a surprise ATI did good job on that, after i wipe them off. another big surprise. I saw R360, i double clean the core to check. It's indeed R360, i was so surprise because i used ATI tools and few other programs to check the core before, all said R350. so I thought i am out of luck to flashing to XT.

so now where to find guides to flash my 9800 pro to XT?

i have ATI radeon 9800 pro 128mb 256bit with R360 (just discovered)
able to OC to 410/360 speed without any problem with current bios and stock HSF
 
Youll be able to flash it to xt bios and itll auto run at 412/365 then. You will not be able to overclock higher without a voltage mod though.
There's a guide somewhere not sure . Try google.
 
Yeah, there's been a lot of reports that say the stock heatsink is just barely keeping the card cool enough even at Pro stock speeds... definitely get a heatsink upgrade if you want to run it as an XT.
