Opera: after 1 day of playing...

1) no ctrl-enter for URL completion
2) no find-as-you-type
3) some tables are wacked
4) no warning prompt if you're closing the browser but still have tabs open (this saved me tons of times in FF with tabs)

:( someone tell me there's a fix for these in Opera.

Check the options\preferences, 2 and 4 are covered in there.

i agree 1) is annoying, but temporary fix is to not press ctrl-enter at all, but just press enter...for example, if you want to visit cnn, just type 'cnn' and press enter. it will automatically append it with 'www' and 'com'

that doesnt always work tho

if it work anything like firefox's then what it is doing is just taking you to the first link of a query for cnn.

so typing in cnn and hitting enter probably returns the first hit of a google search for cnn which of course is cnn.com

It's a great move for the makers of Opera. Get lots of people to use the browser and grow accustomed to it, then make 'em pay for upgrades :p

Giving it a go untill FF 1.5 comes out, nice little program, if only it had a plugin like adblock :(

Right now all that works is proximitron and going into the ini files to filter pages
