That's so cool, I went to see them with Saves the Day just last Monday. Awesome show!! 🙂🙂

"Do you want to destroy my sweater? Oh whoa oh whoa ohh..."

They played a good mix of songs from both the Blue and Green albums, plus some unreleased material. Hope you have fun!!

<< Wow... weezer is still around?

Go figure
>>

Yeah I know, for a band with relatively few albums they have quite a large cultish following. In my area, they played at the Continental Airlines Arena, a huge venue where only better-known bands usually perform.

<< I heard that song "dope nose" on the radio, it was awful🙁 Weezer is loosing it🙁 >>

Blasphemy! While I haven't heard that song yet, weezer kicks ass, I wish I had the opportunity to go see them.

<< i'm going to drive 300+ miles to go see Dashboard Confessional in march.... i'm soo excited ! 😀😀 >>

I heard one of his albums last Friday. I bought the next one the next day. The next day I was online looking for tickets. Damn! Sold out in SF... 🙁
But I got tickets to see Further Seems Forever, fronted by the same guy.

Weezer's best work was Pinkerton, or course. It was the album that got them their cult following and their emo following.

Lucky you! I was introduced to DC (aka Chris Carrabbra) a few months ago and was hooked from the get-go! My only complaint about his albums is that they're too short! It is obvious that this guy's head/heart are brimming with songs just waiting to get recorded. I'm excited for what else he's got to offer.

I'm going to try to get tickets to the Iowa City show, if not the HoB show in Chicago.

Weezer RULES. I've seen them the last two times they were in the SF Bay Area.
They have good openers too.

Their new set of songs rock hard.
And they're free! 😉

The best weezer show I went to was when they played as their alter egos (GP) in the Viper Room in LA. Tiny venue (200 people) and great sound, and they played tons of unreleased stuff.

<< I'm going to 311 and hoobustank in a couple weeks 🙂

That's right, they're still hoobUstank to me.
>>

They're Hoobasuck to me. Is there anything better by them than their garbage single?

oh and to just let you Dashboard Confessional fans know that he has an upcoming 4-song EP due out sometime this spring 😀

Woohoo!! I really enjoyed (and still do) the So Impossible EP. But I gotta wonder why all the EPs? Take an extra few months and put out a 72 minute disc! More satisfying that way! Not that I'm complaining or anything. I could easily combine all the EPs onto a CDR myself. Hell, I'd probably also have room for "The Places...". 🙂

I'd have to agree with your statement hoobasuck. but if you said hoobusuck, i'd have pull out a can.

They used to be called hoobustank when they were more of an underground ska band, now as hoobastank they're the mtv blah blah crap. Go listen to their first CD basketball shorts.

I don't even acknowledge their "garbage single", why the hell do you think I said they're still hoobustank to me? Get a little edumacation before you crap out another sentance, dumbass.
