A few months ago, my g/f roof-racked my bike (drove into the carport w/the bike on the top). I finally got it back. Now I can start commuting again!

Requisite pics.

(Rode 20mi today; hope to get up to 25mi/day 5 days a week now). :D

Nice bike. I want to get a bike but I just can't afford one for this summer. Sigh maybe in a few years or so.

Now you've got all summer to get in shape for 'cross season! :D

Cyclocross makes other sports look like tea parties.

Starting at 20mi/day, move up to 30 pretty soon. ;)

Now if the damned rain would just stop.

Entity,

You wouldn't happen to know of a good place to pick up a decent used bike in the South Seattle area would you? I've been looking to get my own for sometime now and haven't had any luck.

Mmmmmmmmmm....nice bike. I sold my mountain bike (97 Specialized FSR) earlier this year because of lack of use. I haven't had much time to do mountain riding much anymore, and that bike was heavy as hell. I'll probably buy a nice light hardtail in the next year or two, just to get into riding again. My g/f has a custom-built Davidson...21lb goodness. :)

South Seattle? Nope. :(

My recommended places would be:

Recycled Cycles (in the University District)
Second Ascent (in Ballard)
Craigslist (link)

Good luck.
