Yay, finally managed to secure a Wii

It has taken me literally a year, but I managed to order a Wii for my dad. Now I gotta courier the sucker to taiwan...

edit: this is huge for me since my dad never wanted anything to do with consoles, even when he used to sell the original Ataris. For him to ask for one is just huge.

Wow, a year? I managed to pick one up (at a reasonable price) after two months of trying. Not too bad in comparison.

Aren't the Wiis coded for region? Could be a problem for his games if I'm right.

I doubt he'll venture beyond sports and fit. I got mine Feb 07 I think. plus there is a way to play imports without hack now.

I am sure he can get it modded with ease in Taiwan.
