If you read one of my earlier threads, you know my CPU died. It was
either due to the hsf/peltier I installed (slightly grinded the core),
or the fact that upon bootup with that hsf/peltier i noticed the CPU temps
were above 65degrees C and shutdown real fast, and I never got the CPU to boot
ever again
( I think my power supply didnt have enough juice to run the peltier
properly, thus leading to the overheat)
Anyways, I have been too busy to go back to the shop I purchased the CPU from, so
my brother went to the store for me to exchange a case out and perhaps see what
they would say about the dead CPU. I was surprised, but the awesome people at:
Viking Computers replaced my Tbird 850 for free. They even knew the cpu had been
overclocked - abused but were still very cool about it.
I bought quite a few parts from Viking Computers in Carrolton, TX and I just wanted
to give them some props for being a kickass shop with good prices and good service.
FYI: they are members of pricewatch.com and their website is www.vikingcomputers.net
