Japanese culture is far more forgiving of pedophilia than Western cultures. I suppose from a culture relativist standpoint I could pretend that judging it isn't right, but then from a realistic standpoint I can say that it's some frigged up sh*t.

I've always wondered how an adult can actually enjoy Anime. I really think there's something inherently childish about it and about an adult enjoying it - and that's not even including the deviant sexual anime; just the mainstream garbage.

While I don't agree with it, the Law makes no distinction between real and rendered. As well, the law also states that it is not the absolute age of the subject, but the apparent age. Ridiculous, but technically, if a DA wanted to pursue it, he could probably get a conviction on a given "young looking" porn star from a "barely legal" type of video.

I disagree with the feeling that it should be illegal. Immoral, yes, but illegal? At that point you're legislating morality...

If it's a crime, who's the victim? (If there is NO victim, there should be NO crime.)
